Bethany Stroh-Gingrich, OT Reg. (Ont.), is an Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist with a unique integrative approach where mind, body and spirit are always considered. She addresses functional limitations from health conditions or dis-ease in order to remove structural, emotional and spiritual blockages so that you can find a meaningful balance within yourself. Sessions include Mindfulness (based on Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) and Bodywork.

Initial Assessments ($190) are over 1 ½ hours and include extensive OT assessment along with bodywork and meditation. Following treatment sessions can be 60 minutes ($135) or 30 minutes ($80) and include check-in with functional goals, bodywork session and meditation or grounding exercise. Occupational Therapy may be covered under some extended heath benefit plans. If you do not have extended health benefits, people of First Nation status are able to access funding through Non-Insured Health Benefits for mental health counselling with Bethany. Bethany will first ensure you qualify for funding (Status Card #, Date of Birth and Full name) and then will be able to submit directly to NIHB so that you do not incur any costs for services. NIHB covers the cost for 20 sessions/calendar year.

Bethany’s unique OT approach addresses physical, neurological, emotional, cognitive and spiritual aspects (Body, Mind and Soul) of your wellness in order to find your innate potential to change and grow. She has a health promotion and preventative perspective to lead you to balance, resonance, connection and harmony within yourself.

Each session begins with an intention set by yourself. By working with the body structures, energetic centres and emotional state of a person, Bethany facilitates removing blockages within the body, mind and spirit to aid a person in their innate wisdom and ability to heal themselves. Following a session, ‘homework’ is often given to continue the processing that started during a session, as well as plan on how to continue with overall goals.
